Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan carries out systemic work with Microsoft company

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with representatives of Microsoft management at Tatarstan Government House. Further cooperation with the company and application of Microsoft licensed software products were discussed at the meeting.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan carries out systemic work with Microsoft company. “We have established good business relationships. Tatarstan is one of regions that initiated legalisation of Microsoft products application,” he said.
Microsoft Vice-President for Eastern and Central Europe Don Grantham, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, Aide to Tatarstan President Airat Khairullin participated in the meeting.
To the point, representatives of Microsoft management team are staying in Kazan to take part in solemn ceremony of launching Microsoft Windows 8 system in Tatar language (Kazan IT-park, Peterburgskaya str.)

On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.

On 29 December, speaking at a briefing held in Tatarstan Government House on issues of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of road services and housing and communal services during the holidays, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin said that during the holidays special attention will be given to providing heat supply to apartment buildings.

The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
