Participants of international conference “Nawruz-the holiday of peace and humanism” believe that Nawruz holiday has consolidated meaning

Participants of the international conference “Nawruz-the holiday of peace and humanism” that was held in Ashkhabad believe that the international holiday Nawruz has consolidated meaning, and its humanistic ideas unite nations all over the world.
The event was chaired by Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov who made the keynote report. UN Deputy Secretary General, Director General of Geneva UN office Kasymzhomart Tokayev welcomed participants of the conference on behalf of UN Secretary General.
He mentioned that 300 mln people celebrate Nawruz holiday today. Kasymzhomart Tokayev said: “Acceleration of progress by means of national unification is necessary. Mutual cooperation of brotherly countries, their joint efforts on the international arena within the framework of the United Nations Organisation will now be more purposeful and efficient.”
Heads of friendly states and delegations greeted participants of the conference. The Republic of Tatarstan was presented by the President Rustam Minnikhanov.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
