Rustam Minnikhanov: “Geoinformation systems is a lifestyle”

OAO “Tatneftekhhiminvest-holding” Board session was held at Tatarstan Government House on March 25. The session was chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Several innovative projects were considered at the session.
Director General of OAO “NPK “REKOD” (an authorised organisation of the Federal Space Agency in the sphere of information technologies) Vyacheslav Bezborodov told about use of geoinformation systems in different economic sectors. He said that Tatarstan was the first among Russian regions to accept the programme on adopting space technologies. Now it is suggested that different departmental systems will be united in one republican infrastructure of spatial data.
“REKOD” company has already implemented projects created on a single ethnographic platform using GLONASS system.
Rustam Minnikhanov suggested adopting geoinformation systems in different spheres, from power supply facilities to service sector. At the same time, systems that might be interesting for wide range of customers should be available by means of pads and smartphones.
Board Chairman of “Clean world M” Vladimir Petrovsky presented company’s proposals. In particular, they suggest establishing a company for servicing storage plants at oil production, processing and transportation enterprises for Tatarstan and neighboring regions.
Rustam Minnikhanov supported the idea about foundation of an engineering company in the sphere of oil processing and petro chemistry. He recommended Tatneft and TAIF companies to be actively involved in the process.
Tatarstan Minister of information and communication Roman Shaikhutdinov told about creation of Innopolis, the first project of this kind in Russia.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
