Prime Minister of the Repuplic of Tatarstan spoke at the Ideas Festival in Aspen (USA, Colorado)

Today, the Assistant to the Prime Minister for foreign-economic activity Iskander Muflikhanov talked to journalists about the results of working visit of Tatarstan delegation led by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to the USA (Colorado).
Tatarstan delegation was on visit to Aspen (USA, Colorado) from 29 June to 1 July, 2008. The main purpose of the visit was participation in Aspen Ideas Festival. The event was organized for the 4th time. Scientists, politicians, religious workers, philosophers from different states of America traditionally meet at the festival to discuss the most vital problems of modern world.
The Head of Tatarstan Government came to the Festival on organizers’ invitation and addressed the meeting with 10-minutes report about the economic circumstances in Tatarstan, Iskander Muflikhanov said.
“Prime Minister report arose interst in the audience,” Iskander Muflikhanov said. “Americans know little about life in our regions and everything is interesting for them. We distribute a huge amount of information materials about the Republic of Tatarstan. In his report Rustam Minnikhanov also told about conditions the republic gives to foreign partners and about the projects with the participation of Western companies”.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
