Rustam Minnikhanov: Formation of positive economy is not possible without stability in political and social spheres

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Commissioner for human rights of the Council of Europe Nils Muiznieks. The meeting was held at Tatarstan Government House with participation of Commissioner for human rights in RT Saria Saburskaya, a representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in RT Radik Vakhitov, and Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov.
Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the guest in Tatarstan capital. He noted that republic had established good relations with the Council of Europe in the sphere of protection of human rights. He reminded that Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin is Chairman of the Committee for urgent issues of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.
“Our key task today is to ensure stability and further development of republic. Formation of positive economy is not possible without stability in political and social spheres,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
To the point, it is the first visit of Commissioner for human rights of the Council of Europe Nils Muiznieks to Kazan. He said that it is important to know current situation in the sphere of protection of human rights in Russia and its entities.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
