Board Chairman of Association of Innovative Regions of Russia Rustam Minnikhanov signs documents within the framework of cooperation between Russia and the Netherlands

President of Tatarstan, Board Chairman of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia Rustam Minnikhanov signed a number of documents within the framework of cooperation between Russia and the Netherlands in Amsterdam.
The event was dated to official opening of the Year of Russia in the Netherlands and the Year of the Netherlands in Russia with participation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin (8th of April).
In the afternoon officials of Russia and the Netherlands participated in signing of documents on mutually beneficial cooperation. The ceremony took place in Amsterdam Maritime Museum.
In particular, Rustam Minnikhanov signed Agreement of intent between the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia and non-profit organisation Task Force Health Care. The document presupposes establishment and development of scientific and technological cooperation in the sphere of medicine, bio medicine and bio technologies, exchange of scientists and experts to promote research and technical programmes and projects, exchange of scientific and technical information and assistance in establishment of innovative structures.
Another document was Agreement of intent between the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia and The Technopolicy Network. It is expected that the document will favour elaboration of joint high-technology programmes of regional innovative development, acquisition of up-to-date information about best practices in this sphere, including holding of the Innovative Forum of Association of Innovative Regions of Russia.
Joint scientific and innovative researches are to be carried out in such areas as renewable energy sources, third- generation bioenergetic technologies, stable food and agro-processing technologies, medicine, aerospace industry, etc.
Besides, Memorandum on cooperation was signed between Tatarstan Ministry of Health and DSMNutritionalProductsEuropeLtd.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
