New computer manufacturing plant launched near Kazan

New computer manufacturing plant «ICL KPO VS» opened today in Laishevo region (Tatarstan). President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated in official opening ceremony.
Construction of new plant started in 2012. The project realisation was divided into three stages. Production capacity of each stage will make 350 thousand items per year, total capacity – 1 mln items per year.
The first production stage was launched today. Investments made 600 mln rubles. Computers meant to be produced at new enterprise were presented to Rustam Minnikhanov.
Director General of «ICL KPO VS» Viktor Dyachkov told about prospects of the company development and presented several projects. In particular, Viktor Dyachkov told about an information system for housing and communal services that enables maximum transparency in the sphere.
Rustam Minnikhanov charged Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin with considering company’s proposal in details.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted quite a short period of the project implementation. He continued that a good place had been chosen for construction of new enterprise, close to the airport, inter-modal railway and “Smart City”.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked company’s team for realisation of ambitious plans and called authorities for supporting such projects and providing conditions for their implementation.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
