Ildar Khalikov participates in All-Russia meeting concerning development of livestock sector

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev held All-Russia meeting concerning development of livestock sector in format of video conference. Chairman of Tatarstan Government Ildar Khalikov participated in the meeting.
Dmitry Medvedev noted that the increase of Gross Domestic Product is connected with development of agricultural sector.
Head of the Russian Government said that quite good results were achieved in livestock sector for the last few years. In particular, under the state programme aimed at development of agricultural sector 110 bln rubles have been allocated in 2008-2012to support livestock sector.
More than two thousand livestock breeding complexes have been built and reconstructed.
At the same time last year’s poor harvest led to increase in forage prices. Russia’s joining the WTO and establishment of Customs union resulted in pressure on domestic livestock market and decrease in prices.
Dmitry Medvedev asked regional authorities to inform about state of affairs and solutions found to support agriculture.
Speaking about federal support, Russian Prime Minister said that 60 bln rubles are to be allocated to support livestock sector.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
