Rustam Minnikhanov visits Siemens production enterprises in Brno city (Czech Republic)

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Siemens production enterprises in Brno city (Czech Republic).
Tatarstan delegation headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working trip in Czech Republic (April 14-16). On April 15 members of Tatarstan delegation met with leadership of Czech Republic and visited industrial enterprises in Southern part of Czech Republic.
Today Tatarstan delegation visited Honeywell research and production centre and Siemens production enterprises in Brno city.
Representatives of Siemens company told Rustam Minnikhanov about equipment and modern technologies that are used in energy sector. Potential cooperation in the sphere of modernization and reconstruction of power engineering equipment was discussed at the meeting.
Rustam Minnikhanov was interested in Siemens power engineering equipment. He offered to discuss possible deliveries for the energy sector using leasing schemes.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
