18 April 2013, Thursday

The event was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov.
Minister of Labour, Employment, and Social Services Airat Shafigullin presented keynote report. He said that a lot of things had changed since previous meeting, however there are some unsolved problems.
Airat Shafigullin said: “Cases of mortal accidents still happen at small, medium-size and major enterprises. During the previous year we managed to establish cooperation. Though there are issues we must think over once again.”
“In comparison with other regions the situation is quite favourable. A stable declining tendency is observed. At the same time the rate of mortal accidents is the highest among regions within Volga Federal District,” he continued. Shamil Gafarov said that the presented information was rather disappointing.
“We have such poor results, I should say. Tatarstan can not keep the worst positions from year to year. It means we do not work well enough. Everything depends on us,” Shamil Gafarov continued.
