Rustam Minnikhanov visits Suzhou industrial park

On April 19 President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Suzhou industrial park during his trip in China. Tatarstan delegation learnt about development of social infrastructure.
Rustam Minnikhanov visited the embankment area of Jinji Lake, one of the central public places. President of Tatarstan noted that Kazan builders should strive for having the same level upon improvement of embankment of the Kazanka River.
The development project of the business part of Suzhou industrial park was presented to members of Tatarstan delegation. 70 per cent of building works are completed. The whole construction is to be finished by the middle of 2017. It is meant that 400 thousand people will visit central business district every day.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that the visit had been very useful and interesting for him.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
