Tatarstan develops the "Flood" plan - both at the regional and municipal levels
On March 23, at the Government House of the republic, First Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin chaired a meeting of the commission for the prevention and elimination of emergencies and fire safety, at which they discussed the readiness of the republic to implement measures for the flow of melt water and to take measures to prevent and mitigate the consequences of possible emergency situations related to spring floods.
Deputy Minister for Civil Defence and Emergency Situations of the republic Nikolay Surzhko made a keynote report.
Thus, in February 2021, Cabinet of Ministers of the republic adopted the resolution «On measures to protect the population and territory of Tatarstan during the spring flood of 2021».
Main activities in preparation for the flood were carried out.
The total cost was over 1 billion 871 million roubles. The Operational Plan "Flood" was developed both at the regional level and in every municipality of the republic.
In preparation for the flood, special attention was paid to the organization of interaction with the regional Emergency Commission.
