Russian Synchronised Swimming Championship started in Kazan

The Russian Synchronised Swimming Championship opened at the Aquatics Palace on April 24 in Kazan. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was present at the opening ceremony.
Tatarstan President welcomed participants of the event and congratulated them on the start of competitions.
Head coach of Russian Synchronised Swimming team, Vice-president of Synchronised Swimming Federation Tatyana Pokrovskaya wished good luck to the sportswomen. 240 synchro swimmers from 15 Russian regions, among them three-time Olympic champion, five-time European champion Svetlana Romashina and new synchro star Svetlana Kolesnichenko, will take part in competitions. They are expected to perform at summer Universiade 2013.
For the first time synchronised swimming was included in the programme of 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
