Sergey Shadrin from Kazan becomes best teacher in Tatarstan

The awarding ceremony for winners of the republican contest “Teacher of the year 2013” was held at Korston hotel & mall on April 26. The teacher of history of Kazan school №143 Sergey Shadrin became the best teacher.
The final round of the contest has been held from April 22 at school №39. 50 best teachers from republican towns and regions came to Kazan in order to present open lessons. Finally, the jury selected 7 laureates, 10 receivers of diplomas in different nominations and 3 prize winners.
First awards were presented by Deputy Chairman of the jury, professor of Pedagogics Department of the Institute of Pedagogics and Psychology (Kazan Federal University) Zamil Nigmatov.
Awards in special nominations were presented by Deputy Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan – Head of Department for Internal Policies of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksandr Terentiev.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov announced names of winners. The first place was given to the teacher of history of Kazan school №143 Sergey Shadrin. He received keys from Renault Logan. Keys from Peugeot cars were handed to 45 heads of local education authorities.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
