“Smart City Kazan” project officially launched at III Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai

“Smart City Kazan” project was officially launched at III Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Vice-President, UAE Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum participated in the event.
“Smart City Kazan” was created taking into account international experience and latest achievements in the sphere of urban planning and engineering infrastructure. The project is being implemented to develop business, educational and research activity and prospective economic sectors in Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that the event was very important. “We believe that “Smart City Kazan” is a very perspective project for our economy and we lay high hopes on it,” he said.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
