Tatarstan President arrives in Indonesia

On May 2 upon his arrival to the Jakarta airport, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a two-day visit to Indonesia, was met by Ambassador of Russia to Indonesia Mikhail Galuzin.
Aide to Tatarstan President on international issues Radik Gimatdinov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, Chairman of Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev, Director General of OAO “Holding company “Ak Bars” Ivan Egorov, Director General of Gorky plant Renat Mistakhov are on Tatarstan delegation.
Meetings of Tatarstan President with Indonesian ministers, Tatarstan students who study in Jakarta are on the agenda. Tatarstan delegation will take part in a roundtable meeting with participation of Indonesian and Tatarstan businessmen at Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
