Rustam Minnikhanov visits Arsk and Vysokaya gora regions

On May 6 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuff Marat Akhmetov inspected field works in Arsk and Vysokaya gora regions.
Head of Vysokaya gora region Rustem Kalimullin informed that sowing of spring crops is to be finished by May 10.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that there are no any serious problems in regions he had visited.
Speaking to agricultural workers in Vysokaya gora region, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that their main competitive advantage is close location to Kazan where they can sell their produce.
As for Arsk region, sowing campaign is to be finished in a week. The region is notable for successful development of family farms.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
