Linar Yakupov: Indonesia is interested in cooperation with Tatarstan

On May 7 at a briefing dedicated to results of the visit of Tatarstan delegation to Indonesia Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov said that Indonesia is interested in cooperation with Tatarstan.
Chairman of Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev also answered journalists’ questions.
To the point, in May 2 Tatarstan delegation led by the President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Indonesia, met with heads of Indonesian ministries and Tatarstan students studying in Jakarta, and took part in a roundtable at Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Shamil Ageev said that Indonesia is a rapidly developing country, and Tatarstan produce may be in-demand. He reminded as well that an Agreement on mutual understanding was signed between Tatarstan and Indonesian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Linar Yakupov reminded that for the first time for 20 years Tatarstan enterprises were presented at Russian exhibition in Indonesia the year before, and aroused interest of the receiving party.
As for cooperation between Tatarstan and Indonesia, Kazan helicopters plant has supplied 12 helicopters to Indonesia, trained Indonesian pilots and is ready to receive new orders. “KAMAZ” has produced several right-hand drive vehicles for Indonesia and is going to establish an assembly plant. Tatarstan shipbuilding companies can also establish cooperation with Indonesia.
Linar Yakupov continued that Indonesia expressed interest towards development of trade relations with Russia and Tatarstan.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
