French concern “Saint-Goben” may become the resident of SEZ “Alabuga”

Yesterday, June 29, Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov met in the House of Government the delegation of French concern “Saint-Goben” headed by Jean Laronze, authorized representative of the company in Poland, Ukraine, Belorussia and Kazakhstan.

The delegation of French concern “Saint-Goben” was in Tatarstan with one-day working visist. During the visit meetings at RT Cabinet Apparatus and Ministry of Economy were held.

“Saint-Goben” is one of the world’s leaders of glasswork industry that produces a variety of structural glass and special glass, including auto glass. “Saint-Goben” concern’s glass installed in every second automobile in Europe. In Russia the consern have been working since 1996.

Since Russian Federation is the large producer of automobiles, the development of glasswork industry on its territory is considered to be promising. According to “Saint-Goben” authorized representative such enterprises can be placed about every 300 – 400 km.

Jean Laronze noted that even before the visit in the republic the potential of Spesial Economic Zone (SEZ) “Alabuga”, which is located in Tatarstan, was presented to the specialists of the concern. More detailed information the delegation received during the meetings in the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan.

In the course of the meeting in the House of Government the parties exchanged views on the conditions of the establishment of “Saint-Goben”concern’s glasswork plant on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
