Tatarstan President inspects reconstruction works in Staro-Tatarskaya sloboda

On May 12 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin, and Aide to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova made a walking tour around Staro-Tatarskaya sloboda in Kazan.
Rustam Minnikhanov looked around three historical buildings in Safyan street. Restoration of the main house of Apanaev’s estate that was built at the end of 18th century has now been nearly completed.
Participants of the tour walked down Kayum Nasyri street and looked around several reconstructed historical buildings. Rustam Minnikhanov asked to think over site improvement issues.
Tatarstan President paid attention to poor condition of 12th house in Nasyri street, and gave certain tasks to the Ministry of Forestry responsible for restoration works.
Finally, Rustam Minnikhanov inspected restoration of a historical district which lies across Tatarstan, nasyri, Mardzhani, and Zaini Sultan streets. Here investors are reconstructing buildings and courtyards of Kushaev, Kazakov, and Sabitov’s estates.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
