Tatarstan Government House approves new projects for work at Priority Social and Economic Development Area

On August 5, at the Government House of the republic, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a meeting of the Commissions for the consideration of applications on conclusion of implementation working agreements at Mendeleevsk and Nizhnekamsk Priority Social and Economic Development Areas.

Mendeleevsk Chemical Plant plans to launch the production of sodium chloride at Mendeleevsk Priority Social and Economic Development Area.

The production capacity of the new enterprise is 80,000 tonnes per year. As many as 56 new jobs with the average salary of 47,000 roubles will be created.

Promtekhkomplekt-Mezhregion Company introduced a project on production of fiberglass sucker rod and fiberglass tubing pipe.

Fiberglass products are intended for use in the oil and gas industry. The production of 13,400 units of finished products is planned annually. During implementation of the project, the investor will create 10 jobs.

Nizhnekamsk received an application for amendments to the previously concluded agreement on the project “Creation of a unique production of microfiber products for Russia”. The Microfiber company intends to increase the volume of investments and the number of jobs.

Commission members approved all the projects submitted for consideration.
