I congratulate you on a fateful memorable date - the Day of official adoption of Islam in Volga Bulgaria. Eleven centuries ago Bulgar civilization was recognized as a part of great Muslim civilization. I am sure that for the last centuries the seeds of faith that were sowed in a fertile ground have come up and yielded rich spiritual fruits.
On May 20, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President held a meeting with Muslim leaders of Russia and foreign countries on the development of the system of Muslim religious education in Russia.
