On April 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of laying the foundation stone of Bogorodskoye gas distribution station in Pestrechinsky region of the republic. 

On April 17, at a summary press conference after an annual shareholders meeting of TAIF JSC, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said:
“I positively assess the work of TAIF group by results of 2016. It was achieved not as easy as one can imagine. It is a hard work, strict attitude to employees, and leadership of the company. I know how directors of TAIF group work. Only team work helps to achieve such results.”

On April 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the annual general meeting of shareholders of TAIF Production and Investment Company in Kazan. 

On April 17, at the 27th session of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksey Pesoshin said that the proposal of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to nominate him for the position of Prime Minister of the republic is a great responsibility.

On April 17, at the 27th meeting of Tatarstan State Council, its members supported the candidacy of Aleksey Pesoshin for the post of Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

On April 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is taking part in the 27th session of Tatarstan State Council of the 5th convocation held by Chairman of the Council Farid Mukhametshin.

On April 17, at the Korston Entertainment Complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed participants of the 7th Congress of Muslims of Tatarstan. The Congress was attended by over 1200 imams from all over the republic, heads of ministries and departments, heads of municipalities.
