Rustam Minnikhanov holds session of Association of Innovative Regions of Russia

On May 22 within the framework of Tomsk innovation forum INNOVUS-2013 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia.
Opening the session, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the Association had performed a large amount of work and already presented some proposals on state support of engineering centres to the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. He also asked to intensify work on promotion of the Association’s interests in the State Duma.
Among priority tasks Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out development of state support measures for innovative clusters, engineering centres, and participation in elaboration of the law about Federal contract system.
Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, in particular, told about work of the qualification committee and development of criteria of activity of technoparks.
Plenipotentiary of the Russian President in Siberian Federal District Viktor Tolokonsky, in his turn, thanked members of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia for active and well-coordinated work.
Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov noted constantly growing level of the event, the imposing composition of participants, and a great deal of interesting projects.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
