Riverside station and Museum of Bulgar civilization opened in Bolgar

On May 25 the Riverside station and Museum of Bulgar civilization were opened in Bolgar (the Republic of Tatarstan) within the framework of solemn events dated to the Day of official adoption of Islam in Volga Bulgaria.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counselor and Chairman of the Board of guardians of the Republican fund of historical and cultural monuments Mintimer Shaimiev, first Vice-Premier Ravil Muratov, Deputy Chairman of State Council Rimma Ratnikova, Chairman of the Central Muslim Spiritual Directorate Talgat SafaTadzhuddin, Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council Ravil hazrat Gainutdin, and Chairman of Tatarstan Muslim Spiritual Department Kamil hazrat Samigullin took part in the event.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked everyone who had been involved in construction of the Riverside station and Museum, especially State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev and sponsors.
Presentation of Books of philanthropists and letters of gratitude of the Republican fund “Revival” and official opening of the Riverside station and Museum of Bulgar civilization were held afterwards.
The building of the Riverside station and Museum of Bulgar civilization represents the history of ancient Bolgar. The Museum occupies the area of 2 thousand m² and is the central museum exposition representing facts about history, culture and architecture of ancient Bolgar.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
