Rustam Minnikhanov: “Tatarstan and Orenburg region are neighbours and cooperate in many spheres”

Answering journalists’ questions in Mustafino village (Orenburg region), where he came to take part in opening of the museum complex named after Musa Dzhalil, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Orenburg region are neighbours and cooperate in trade-economic, cultural, educational and social spheres.
Rustam Minnikhanov told about the meeting with Tatars and thanked the leadership of the region for providing necessary conditions for preservation of their culture. He continued that Tatarstan and Orenburg region are Russian leading industrial centres and the main task of two regions is to expand their trade and economic relations.
Governor of Orenburg region Yuri Berg told journalists that cooperation between municipalities situated at the border with Tatarstan Republic was discussed at the meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
