Tatarstan is among the leaders in the number of residents who completed the All-Russian census on the portal of state services
On November 30, speaking at a briefing at the Government House of the republic, Head of the regional office of the Federal State Statistics Service in Tatarstan (Tatarstanstat) Natalya Gataullina reported that Tatarstan is among the leaders in the number of residents who completed the All-Russian Population Census on the portal of state services.
“The census is over. We have started processing data. The results of the census will be available at the end of January 2022. The results in an expanded format will be presented in December 2022. We are completing data processing to know the numbers for sure,” said the speaker.
The representative of the statistical office noted that the census is a complicated event to organize. There were people the census personnel did not find at home. About 17 per cent of the census participants from the region completed the census on the portal of state services. “We expected that a larger number of residents would take part the census using the portal of state services,” Gataullina added.
The second stage of the All-Russian population census is taking place in Tatarstan these days. Tatarstanstat is accepting census documents and tablets from the census personnel.
