On May 31 at a republican meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin reported that as on May 30 983,3 m ² of housing (41 per cent of the annual plan) have been commissioned in Tatarstan.
Labour protection activities are underway in the republic. Tatarstan Ministry of Construction and Head Investment and Building Department held an extended session of the working group dedicated to labour protection and safety measures in construction sector.
Housing construction is carried out under the programme aimed at improvement of veterans’ living conditions and social mortgage programme.
Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Services Airat Shafigullin who also spoke at the meeting informed that 18009 veterans had participated in the programme since it was launched. 372 veterans are not provided with subsidies yet.
According to Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin, the housing construction programme for 2014 presupposes the volume of 2 mln 399 thousand m ².
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
