Ildar Khalikov: “Ak Bars” is the main bank of Tatarstan economy”

On May 31 at an annual shareholders meeting of “Ak Bars” Bank Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that it is the largest financial organisation in Tatarstan and it makes a substantial contribution to successful economic development of the republic.
Board Chairman Robert Minnegaliev presented main results of the bank’s activity for 2012.
Bank assets accounted for 336,6 bln rubles, the capital increased by 42,5 per cent and made 50, 8 bln rubles. Loans for the sum of 40,9 bln rubles were granted to small and medium-size enterprises. Net profit in 2012 made187,9 bln rubles.
During the meeting shareholders approved annual and accounting reports, voted for making changes in bank regulations and new membership of the Board.
On behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov Ildar Khalikov thanked employees of the bank for efficient work in 2012, active social policy and wished strong health and progress. He paid special attention to work of the Board within the last few years.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
