Household debts in Tatarstan have amounted to nearly 8bn roubles as of January 1, 2022

Speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Marat Ayzatullin has said that household debts in Tatarstan have amounted to nearly 8bn roubles as of January 1, 2022.

He said that payment of utility bills in December of 2021 was 102% which was by 0.7% less than during the same period in the previous year. However the average yearly payment reached 99% which was by 0.2% higher than in 2022.

Ayzatullin informed the participants of the meeting that the share of e-payments has substantially increased and currently makes 68 per cent on average all over the republic.

He also said that 367m roubles of household debts were those for gas supply and 40m roubles – for the electricity supply.
