The expert Council of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone has reviewed new startups

On 8 February at its 15th meeting, the expert council on startup-projects of the Innopolis presided by the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov and with participation of the Director General of Innopolis Renat Khalimov, Mayor of the City of Innopolis Ruslan Shagaleyev, Director of the Innopolis University Kirill Semenikhin and more than 50 representatives of the venture market, reviewed start-up projects for their future implementation in the city.

Speaking at the meeting, Shaykhutdinov said: “Innopolis as a special economic zone is ready to render support in promotion of technological ideas and feasible cases”.

The Council reviewed projects from ten teams including the service for real estate companies and StereoSharing platform represented by the Dinamika Company which help to assess the housing liquidity and speed up signing of smart-contracts. The Help Resource team developed a platform to hire and manage the linear staff while the Era Platform represented a solution for automatization of call-centers. 

The Ooogr, cyber sports operator represented a gaming competitions platform and the Blackbird Company plans to develop a project of a distributed platform of digital video mass delivery, processing and storage in Innopolis. 

Speaking at the meeting, Renat Khalimov said: “2021 was a record year for the international venture market as Russian startups attracted more than 85bn roubles, including 4.3bn received by Innopolis companies”. He continued saying: We expect 2022 to be no less favourable for the startup markets and will do everything possible to provide IT-companies with an efficient access to venture capital and possibilities to enter the global venture market. With this aim we develop our own venture ecosystem and cooperate with such leading venture funds as VEB Ventures, Angelsdeck, Fort Ross ventures, AFK Sistema and MTS StartUp Hub and implement acceleration and commercialization programs”.

All those teams who will win the startup status will be given a special fiscal treatment of 1 per cent interest rate of renting a space in technical parks, a 1m roubles bonuses package, access to the investors’ community and support in attracting venture investments.
