34 emergency situations happened during Universiade drills

At a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Minister of Youth, Sport and Tourism Rafis Burganov informed that on June 8 34 emergency situations happened during Universiade drills.
Rafis Burganov told that one of Universiade competition days was tested on June 8. 24 venues were involved in Universiade drill. Awarding ceremonies were also played over.
Among planned emergency situations were light and water cutoff, failure in access control, smoke spread and evacuation.
Sports venues were checked for facilities, suitability for competitions, quality of equipment, provision with water, drinks and medicines.
Two FISU representatives took part in the first day of drills. Their comments had to do with access control and access zones for client groups.
“We suppose that in general the drills were well-organised. We have drawn some conclusions that will be taken into account during the next days of drills,” Rafis Burganov said.
On June 15 the competition day of 10th July, one of the most eventful and difficult days, will be tested. On June 21 drills will be held at the international airport “Kazan” and Universiade Village. Universiade Opening Ceremony will be tested on June 22.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
