Rustam Minnikhanov speaks at session of National Anti-Terrorist Committee

On June 11 during his working trip to Moscow Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov participated in a session of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee dedicated to readiness of forces and facilities for ensuring anti-terrorist safety during 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.
According to Chairman of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee and Director of the Federal Security Service Aleksandr Bortnikov, concentration of efforts on priority activities, interaction of all structures participating in ensuring of anti-terrorist safety during World Student Games are necessary on the final stage of preparation for Universiade. He continued that anti-terrorist drill exercises and complex trainings held in Tatarstan enable practicing control of operations in case of possible terrorist threats.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, in his turn, said that preparation for summer Universiade is carried out in a stable social and political atmosphere and is controlled by governmental authorities and law enforcement agencies. He briefly told about readiness of sports venues and infrastructure, and anti-terrorist security of Universiade objects.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
