On 9 March, speaking at a videoconference briefing with all municipalities of Tatarstan in the Government House in Kazan, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Marat Ayzatullin said that it is planned to commission 2m 755 thousand square meters of housing in the republic in 2022, including 148 multi-apartment investment houses, 56 houses within the investment programme of the State Housing Fund by Tatarstan President and 12 454 houses of individual housing construction.
He continued saying that the ministry is going on with the programmes of providing housing for separate categories of residents such as 600 orphans, 22 families with many children, 50 young families and 5 representatives of separate social categories.
Ayzatullin informed that in the current year 6bn 430m roubles will be allocated to the capital overhaul of 760 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 4m 756 thousand square meters and added that the most part on the money will be invested by residents.
He noted that in the current year there are 44 planned regional programs of construction and capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities and modernization of the housing and utilities sector.
