Tatarstan Ministry of Economy: The volume of essential goods at distribution centres is sufficient to meet the demand of the population

2 April 2022, Saturday

On April 2, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic - Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said that retail sales of long-term storage products continue to decline in Tatarstan. This is facilitated by the conclusion of contracts with new suppliers, an increase in deliveries for a number of positions and limiting sales to one hand. The volume of essential goods at distribution centres is sufficient to meet the demand of the population.

The Minister said that this week there were isolated cases of sugar resale. The materials were sent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for investigation.

To provide the population of the republic with the necessary products, traditional agricultural fairs are held, where residents can purchase quality products at affordable prices.

Pharmaceutical inventory on budget purchases has been increased this week and range from 2.6 to 5.2 months amounting to 4.8 billion roubles. Currently, pharmacy chains have the necessary range of medicines.

To ensure the smooth functioning of enterprises, including backbone organizations, the most important issue is import substitution. One of the tools to assist is the Regional Marketing Centre. The Government Order Agency has modified the catalog of proposals for substitution of imported products - there is an opportunity to automatically search for the necessary products. Over 3,400 new positions of imported products and over 9,000 proposals for their replacement were revealed during the week.

During the week, 498 applications for credit holidays in the amount of 1.8 billion roubles were submitted. As many as 184 applications amounting to 876 million roubles were approved.

The implementation of preferential business lending programmes continues.
