10 762 violations in the sphere of waste treatment revealed in Tatarstan on April 15-June 15

On June 18 at a briefing concerning results of two-month ecological campaign Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Artem Sidorov told that 1595 unauthorized landfills had been found in Tatarstan on April 15-June 15. 1419 of them have been removed.
By and large, 10 762 violations in the sphere of industrial and household waste treatment have been revealed.
Consequently, 179 enterprises and 1034 officials have been brought to book. Fine sanctions for the sum of 18,5 mln rubles have been imposed. 61 cases have been sent to Prosecutor’s office for consideration.
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources organized claims activities in terms of compensation of harm made to environment as a result of unauthorized industrial and household waste treatment.
Deputy Minister of Forestry Kharis Musin, Deputy Head of the Department of Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Natural Resource Use Liliya Gainutdinova took part in the briefing.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
