On 20 April a delegation of the Tatarstan Government headed by the Head of the Office of the regional Cabinet Shamil Gafarov visited the Diagnostics and Telemedicine Center (DTC) of the Moscow Healthcare Department with the aim of sharing experience and learning the results and technologies used at the institution as the region started developing a similar model of the center of competencies.
During the visit specialists of the Centre told about the Moscow experiment of implementation of the computer vision into medicine and about the work of the Moscow Radiology Reference-Center.
The DTC has actively working scientific, medical, IT departments and educational center and testing laboratory and provides support to largest medical organizations, doctors and software developers and medical equipment producers.
“There is a professional and goal-oriented team, the achievements of which we have been following for long time, working at the Center. Today’s visit will help us to define prospects of our own development and we count on complete interaction for implementation of a new project in our republic – the similar model of the competences center”, Shamil Gafarov said.
In his turn Tatarstan Deputy Healthcare Minister Ayrat Garipov underlined: “Introduction and development of digital technologies in medicine is one of the most important development vectors today as such changes are first of all necessary for the end consumers, residents of our republic”.
