In Tatarstan, the number of registered unemployed is 10,757 people

On April 23, speaking at the videoconference in the Government House of the republic held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of all municipalities of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Elmira Zaripova spoke about measures to ensure the development of the social labor sphere in the republic and described the situation in the labour market under external restrictions as relatively stable.

As of April 22, 2022, the number of registered unemployed in the republic makes 10,757 people (as of March 1, 2022 it made 10,242 people). The level of registered unemployed persons is 0.53 per cent. At the same time, there is a demand for labor in the republic. Number of vacancies in the labor market amounts to 61252.

By industry, the largest demand is in construction, makes 33 per cent of all vacancies, in manufacturing, makes 14 per cent, transport, education and science, and food processing. Daily operational and preventive monitoring of organizations and enterprises using or at risk of underemployment in the region.

The region carries out daily operational and preventive monitoring of organizations and enterprises that use or are at risk of applying the part-time employment regime.

Zaripova also provided data on the level of average monthly wages by industry in Tatarstan.

Zaripova presented data on the issue of monthly cash payments for children from 8 to 17 years old. The recipients of such payments are families with an average per capita income below the value of SM per capita (10,756 rubles in the Republic of Tatarstan, taking into account the level of property provision).

An application for payment can be submitted until May 1 of the current year through the State Services, at the MFC or at the branch of the Pension Fund of Russia.

Tatarstan Minister also provided data on the issue of monthly cash payments for children from 8 to 17. The recipients of such payments are families with an average income below the subsistence level, namely 10,756 roubles in the republic taking into account the level of property provision. An application for payment can be submitted until May 1 of this year through the State Services Portal, at the Multifunctional centre or at the branch of the Pension Fund of Russia.
