Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working trip in St.Petersburg

On June 20 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in St.Petersburg to take part in St.Petersburg International Economic Forum (June 20-21).
This year’s forum slogan is “Finding Resolve to Build the New Global Economy”. Main topics to be discussed are “The Global Growth Agenda”, “Russia’s New Horizons”, “New Catalysts for Change”.
The event is traditionally held at Lenexpo complex.
Rustam Minnikhanov is going to meet with officials of several international and Russian companies, such as OAO “INTER RAO UES”, “MasterCard”, “Thomson Reuters”.
On June 21 Tatarstan President will visit a business lunch “Investments in human capital” organized by Sberbank of Russia and the World Economic Forum, take part in general meeting of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia.
A plenary session of St.Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held in the afternoon. The Russian President Vladimir Putin will deliver his speech at the session.
During the trip Rustam Minnikhanov is accompanied by Aide to Tatarstan President Airat Khairullin, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ruslan Kabirov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Lenar Yakupov, Director General of “Ak Bars” holding Ivan Egorov.

On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”

Leyla Fazleeva holds a meeting of the commission under the Rais of Tatarstan on the Russian language
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.
