Thomson Reuters to present opportunities and services to Tatarstan energy companies

At their meeting within the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and officials of Thomson Reuters agency agreed on presentation of the company’s opportunities and services for Tatarstan mineral and energy companies at a session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”.
At today’s meeting Rustam Minnikhanov said that cooperation with Thomson Reuters is efficient by a number of projects, including “Smart City Kazan”. He also thanked company’s executives for an opportunity to visit Thomson Reuters office in Dubai during the Annual Investment Meeting.
Thomson Reuters is a big international information agency and supplier of information services with 150 – year history. The company has representative offices in 155 countries, 40 thousand organisations use company’s solutions.
It is expected that information cooperation of Thomson Reuters with Tatarstan industrial enterprises will bring them to international markets and attract potential investors.
The Protocol on cooperation between Thomson Reuters and Tatarstan Investment Development Agency was signed at the meeting.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
