Military pensioners and people of similar status on reaching retirement age will get pension for long service and insurance sum of labour retirement pension

Head of Pension Fund Department of Russia in Tatarstan Marsel Imamov told today at briefing in RT Cabinet about innovations in pension payment for pensioners who used to work in power departments.
The changes are connected with Federal law № 156-ФЗ “About alterations in separate legislative acts of Russian Federation regarding retirement benefits” (dated 22.07.2008).The law became operative on July, 25, 2008.
This document entrusts pensioners of power departments and other government officials to get pension for long service (or disability pension) and insurance sum of labour retirement pension at the same time.
Pension for long service is fixed by power departments, insurance sum of labour retirement pension - by Pension Fund of Russian Federation.
Military pensioners who reached retirement age (60 for men, 55 – women) and have 5 years of insurance experience will have the right to get the sum of labour pension.
Insurance experience includes the periods of work and other activity which are not taken into account while defining the size of pension according to “military law”.
Marsel Imamov reminded that pensioners-military servants of power structures are those people who get pension for long service (or disability pension) and did military service in armed forces of Russian federation, or in internal affairs bodies, state fire fighting service, drug and psychotropic agents turnover control bodies, establishments and bodies of criminal executive system, procuracy bodies and custom authorities.
In order to have the pension charged, one has to address territorial departments of Pension Fund of Russian federation in Tatarstan according to the place of residence (it’s also necessary to have the certificate from military commissariat).

According to the words of Aide to Military Commissioner of Tatarstan on social service Igor Skorokhod, among 10 000 military pensioners living in republic 3512 people have reached retirement age, 3205 - for long service, others for disability.
The majority of military servants who reached retirement age (2638 people) live in Kazan, others in Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Zelenodolsk and other cities of Tatarstan.
Marsel Imamov also informed that the size of insurance sum will include labour experience, earnings and insurance contributions that were earned at civil positions and were not included into military pension. The size of insurance sum depends on labour experience and earnings for the period till 1.01.2002, then on the sum of insurance contributions according to personal account.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
