Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers has summed up results of the 2021/2022 heating season

On 25 May in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a video meeting with all municipalities of the republic on results of work of housing and utility sector and fuel and energy facilities of the republic during the 2021/2022 heating season and preparatory work for the 2022/2023 season.

Also participating in the meeting were Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the staff of the Cabinet, members of the regional State Council, heads of ministries and departments and the heads of municipalities of the republic.

Speaking at the meeting, Pesoshin informed that due to the team work of municipalities and the house and utility enterprises preparations to the 2021-2022 season were completed on time with work done on 3 146 boilers, 17 476 multi-apartment houses, 3 333 educational facilities, 2 013 healthcare facilities, 1 962 cultural facilities, 311 sports and youth facilities and 175 social protection facilities. He said that unfortunately there were 2 741 emergencies during the last heating season and gave an errand to the Ministry of Construction of the republic, heads of the heat supplying organizations and heads of municipalities to step up the control over the quality of preparations to the heating season.

Pesoshin informed that the arrear of the housing and utility organizations has been gradually decreasing from 2015 and currently makes 360m roubles, including 296m debts for gas and 64m – for electricity.

Giving a detailed report about the 2021/2022 heating period, the Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Maraz Ayzatullin said the season started on 6 September last year and ended in May this year which made 261 days or two-thirds of a calendar year.
