Lenin Dam opened in Kazan

On June 27 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin officially opened the reconstructed Lenin Dam in Kazan.
The bridge over the Kazanka river consists of three overhead roads. The traffic by one of them was opened last year. Now people can drive through the main road – from the Millenium Square to the Lenin Dam.
At the same time, the traffic across the whole reconstructed Lenin Dam was opened today. By the beginning of Universiade builders are expected to complete all works.
To the point, the cost of all works that have been fulfilled at the object accounted for 3,2 bln rubles.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
