On 2 May in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Tatenergosbyt Energy Vendor Company, which considered a number of issues including the results of financial and operational activities of the company in the first three month on 2022, implementation of the company development programmes and participation in the implementation of the Tatarstan digital transformation strategy in the part of Energy Infrastructure.
Speaking at the meeting, Director General of the Company Rifnur Suleymanov reported that the amount of electricity generation at all power stations of the republic reached 7bn512m kWh, which was by 4.7% more compared to the same period in 2021. The energy consumption in the republic made 8bn 788m kWh, showing the growth of 6%compared to the previous year. Energy sales also increased by 10 per cent in the group of various customers and by 3.5 per cent in the population group.
Suleymanov also told the Board that the electricity debts dropped significantly compared to the same period last year and made 294.2m rubles by 1 April, half of them accounted for the population and the utilities managing organizations.
Speaking about implementation of the company development programmes and participation in the implementation of the Tatarstan digital transformation strategy, the company Deputy Director in development Gulnara Sayarova reported the Board that all payment centers of the republic have been sequentially united into the Integrated Payment Center and the customers ‘database has increased substantially.
Reporting about current results of the company development programme, Sayarova said that there was a significant growth in using online services by customers and the share of meter readings submitted reports by population remotely increased by 33 per cent and by legal entities -by 17 per cent. The structure of utility bills payment has also changed in the last two years and currently 78 per cent of them are paid online, she said.
