Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov takes part in OJSC “KAMAZ” shareholders meeting

On June 29 an annual shareholders meeting of OJSC “KAMAZ” chaired by Director General of “Rostech” and Board Chairman of OJSC “KAMAZ” Sergei Chemezov was held in Naberezhnye Chelny. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Director General of OJSC “KAMAZ” Sergei Kogogin took part in the event.
Results of KAMAZ activity for 2012 have been discussed at the meeting. Participants of the event also elected new membership of the company’s Board and Revision Commission.
“For a short period of time KAMAZ managed to take up its proper position among global truck producers and involve the leading German producer “Daimler”. The company has invested in production modernization and renewal of product line, and has adopted the cost saving programme. Shareholders have assessed stable financial situation at the enterprise and for the first time for 20 years decided to pay dividends. Ambitious plans described in company’s development strategy till 2020 will enable maintaining leading positions in Russia and CIS countries,” Sergei Chemezov said.
Final voting results by all issues on the agenda will be published in terms as required by the Russian laws.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
