Tatarstan President looks over new Universiade objects

On June 30 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov made a detour of a number of Universiade objects.
Tatarstan President was accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin, Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov, Head of Universiade Executive Office Vladimir Leonov.
The delegation started their detour by visiting the Universiade park near the Palace of Agriculture, where the pavilions of Universiade partner companies, expositions of national crafts, the World Football Cup 2018, Almaty Winter Student Games 2017, and Krasnoyarsk city bidding to host Winter Universiade 2019 will be located.
The main stage is now being constructed in front of the Palace of Agriculture.
Tatarstan President walked around the Kazanka quay and Baturin street to check the construction process. He also inspected the road along Sibgat Khakim street, pedestrian crossings on Chistopolskaya and Amirkhan streets.
Rustam Minnikhanov also visited the new food production complex on Tulskaya street. The food preparation process using state-of-the-art equipment was demonstrated to the detour participants.
Russia’s best Rifle shooting complex situated in the Mirny township was the last object detoured.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
