Rustam Minnikhanov opens new bridge over Aeroexpress railway line

On July 1 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov opened traffic on new motor road over intermodal railway line “Kazan-Airport”. Minister of Transport and Roads Lenar Safin, Head of Laishevo region Mikhail Afanasiev took part in opening of new bridge between Usady and Stolbishi villages.
New motor road with total length of 127,33 m crosses the railway line Malye Kabany – Vakhitovo meant for running Aeroexpress trains between the Kazan airport and railway station.
Construction of new road was carried out under the intermodal transportation project to ensure safe vehicle traffic between Usady and Stolbishi villages.
The project originator is OAO “Russian railways”. The estimated cost of construction works accounted for 763,6 mln rubles.

On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference , the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that 170 educational facilities will have capital overhaul by federal and regional programmes, having added that the bulk of the projects are planned to begin at the start of the summer holidays.
