Rustam Minnikhanov launches “Radio sport” broadcasting in Kazan

On July 5 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in launching of “Radio sport” broadcasting in Kazan.
“Radio sport” started broadcasting in June 2006 and has been in European Media Group since 2012. Currently broadcasting is realised in 7 Russian cities: Moscow, Vladimir, Karachaevsk, Lipetsk, Stavropol, Tambov, and Chelyabinsk.
The national sport broadcasting network is being prepared in 45 cities for Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. Investments in the project will make 1 bln rubles. Tatarstan capital has become the 8th city where the company launched broadcasting.
Yulia Savicheva and Dmitry Bilan performed today at the official launching ceremony near G.Kamal theatre.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov addressed guests of the holiday with welcoming speech:
“Universiade will officially open tomorrow. Today teams are already taking part in competitions in 6 sports. “Radio sport” also starts broadcasting today. All events will be covered for the audience of 40 mln people.”
“Radio sport” Board Chairman Mikhail Fedyaev thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for support. He also presented a certificate for 500 thousand rubles to make a hockey ground in Staroe Drozhzhanoe village.
After the official ceremony Rustam Minnikhanov gave interview to “Radio sport”. He told that the republic managed to preserve and increase sport achievements, a lot of new sports venues and schools were created. He continued that attitude to sport is changing in republic. Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for support in promoting Kazan for hosting student games.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
