On July 6 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, President of OAO “United Aircraft Corporation” Mikhail Pogosyan, and Head of ZAO “Composit” Anatoly Gaidansky took part in opening ceremony of “KAPO-Composit” for producing composite details for aircraft industry.
“KAPO-Composit” plant was established by ZAO “Composit” at one of Gorbunov KAPO departments. The amount of investments made 3,5 bln rubles.
Composite parts of wing and tail devices for Sukhoi Superjet and MS-21aircrafts will be produced at the plant.
“KAPO-Composit” is the first plant opened under the programme of the United aircraft corporation aimed at construction of competence centres. New plants will be opened in Ulyanovsk, Voronezh and Moscow.
Welcoming the audience, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that this day is very important for the republic - opening of Universiade. He thanked partners, designers, builders and President of OAO “United Aircraft Corporation” Mikhail Pogosyan, and presented several awards.
Mikhail Pogosyan, in his turn, said that the company is willing to win back positions of one of global leaders in the sphere of high technologies. He continued that a lot of orders were received for “KAPO-Composit” produce already. He thanked Rustam Minnikhanov and President of an Austrian company FACC AG Walter Stefan for active participation in creation of new enterprise.
Walter Stefan said that they are glad to cooperate with “KAPO-Composit”.
President of OAO “United Aircraft Corporation” Mikhail Pogosyan and President of FACC AG Walter Stefan signed agreement on intentions. Agreement on cooperation was also signed between United Aircraft Corporation, ZAO “Composit” and Tatarstan leading universities.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
