Ildar Khalikov meets with MasterCard President in Eastern Europe

On July 6 at their meeting in Kazan Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Senior Vice President of MasterCard Europe in Central and Eastern Europe Bella Stavchanski discussed prospects of further cooperation. Board Chairman of OAO “Ak Bars Bank” Robert Minnegaliev took part in the meeting.
Ildar Khalikov noted long-term cooperation between MasterCard and Tatarstan. One of important joint projects implemented on the threshold of Universiade was introduction of MasterCard PayPass technology.
Participants and guests of Summer Universiade will use PayPass cards in public transport, museums and sports venues.
MasterCard also realised a special motivation programme for volunteers of Kazan Universiade.
Ildar Khalikov thanked Bella Stavchanski for active participation in life of Tatarstan.

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
